The Pakistan Political Science Consortium is pleased to welcome Dr. Mehmood Hussain, an accomplished academic and leader from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as a dedicated member. Dr. Hussain serves as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of International Relations at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, a pivotal institution for understanding regional dynamics. His career is marked by a steadfast commitment to scholarly inquiry within a context of immense geopolitical significance.

Dr. Hussain’s scholarly expertise is centred on the geopolitics of South Asia, with a specialized focus on the historical, legal, and diplomatic dimensions of the Kashmir issue. His research critically examines regional security architectures, conflict resolution paradigms, and the role of international organizations.
